Knock on wood. My carrier 3-ton heat pump was installed in 2003 and it's still running. Still have the sales ticket. Total cost back in the day with tax was $1840. Years ago I use to sell heating and air for Sears. Been here for over 50 years and I can tell you this much. Without naming names here, when certain trucks pull up "bend over". By all means, get a second opinion.
