He said "being vaccinated will not only protect you but it will protect your family and also protect your community".

My confusion lies with the fact that we are being informed to continue to wear masks and social distance even after we have received full immunization and achieve immunity. This is because it is not known yet if an immunized person can still transmit the virus.

I'm not sure what to make of this as they are opposing views.
