I've had mine since 19'. 7k miles on it.
Haven't done a thing to it besides air in the tires.
No maintenance. No service. Nothing.
I put 22" tires on it which bumped the speed to 24+mph
I think that hurts my range a little, but 50+ miles is plenty.
IMO it's a game changer.
