Default Lithium batteries verses lead acid golf cart batteries
We are thinking about converting 4 packs of lithium batteries to our 3 year old Club Car Golf Cart, which has lead acid batteries in it now. These lithium batteries are 48 volt and 30 amps each. This would give us 120 amps and am told the capability of going about 50 miles. We could add 2 more packs in the first 2 years to get 180 amps if we wanted to. Has anyone else done this and how did you like it? Looks like it would cost about $5,200 including the charger and digital gage.
