Producing products in the USA which are non-competitive gets us nowhere. We give most-favored-trading-status to communist/socialist countries who produce at one-twentieth the labor cost and don't tariff their products so that the American business can have a level business field. We can continue to slam the previous administration for the debt level, but when most of that debt is due to the efforts to thwart terrorism and keep people safe. I say GOOD JOB! Going deeper into debt to subsidize special interests and trade pork for votes - that's counterproductive, as the stock market has shown all week long.

The American people were sold a bill of goods about imminent mushroom clouds and the Bush administration successfully linked 9/11 to Saddam. And when the dust settled NO nuclear program, NO WMD program and NO link to 9/11.
Yes I agree NAFTA was and is bad but just so you know I know...the Bush administration negotiated the bill and Clinton passed it.
We have 2 huge Ponzi schemes overseen by a completely ball-less SEC. Almost no regulation in the banking and housing mortgage markets.
But extending the Bush tax cuts, cutting corporate taxes to 0 and continuing to fight 2 wars is NOT going to get us out of this trouble.
