Vee, its really up to the individual. My personal feeling was since this is probably my last home, I would opt for the best that I can afford and want. My view is something I would never give up, I face the pond behind Colony Plaza and also can see the golf course in the distance from my lanai. What I did give up, was the idea of the CYV because they were much too expensive for me, and I bought a new designer with a view for a lot less money. Its a matter of research and viewing different home offerings and deciding for yourself what is important. I just love what I bought and have never complaint about the upcharge for the view! JMHO. BTW, good luck to you and keep us posted.
