My 45 yr. old son-in-law is an assistant professor in anesthesiology at a well-respected university hospital. In November my 12 yr. old granddaughter was exposed at school and tested positive, and later my son-in-law. They had mild symptoms. When he went back to work after quarantine he was assigned to the Covid unit. This was early November. He received his first and second doses of vaccine, less than 90 days post infection. He is very science based in his practice and definitely advocates the vaccine. As a retired RN, I advocate it, as well. We have been fortunate to receive both doses with no adverse reactions.
