Having lived in one house that was much too close to the neighbors in back,
we longed for a house with open space in back. So we moved to a golf course lot in the Chicago suburbs. But we made a mistake and were only 220 yds off the tee. We were pelted with golf balls. When we moved to TV, we did a lot of research and looking, still wanting the open space. We found a great lot in Hadley about 320 yds off the tee with a great view. Haven't seen a ball near us yet. We plan on using the lanai a ton, so the view is important to us. As has been said earlier, it's all up to each person's individual taste, but the plan is for this to be our last house, so we think it's worth the money.
