I guess my question is why be snarky or sarcastic? Why not make your points in a straight forward manner without demeaning another person which I feel replying to a legitimate question or comment in a snarky or sarcastic way to be demeaning? We were all taught manners growing up. Why does being older absolve us from common courtesy?

"Dust to Dust". "The child is father of the man". Some say that older citizens seem to have lost their guard rails as they have aged - they have fewer inhibitions. I notice that at BOTH ends of the age spectrum that there are fewer inhibitions - in both children and the elderly. One has developing brainpower and the other has declining brainpower.
