I don't live in TV so I don't recall the rules for the roundabouts there. The traffic circles in TV are rather small though as talk host mentioned.
However, I disagree with the statement that the same rules are common to all roundabouts.
We have several rounabouts in the town that I live in and the rules aren't even consistent within our town! Here's one example, we have two dual lane roundabouts on the same road within a mile of each other. In the first roundabout, if you want to go left (make a 270 degree turn) you must use the inside lane only. In the second roundabout, if you want to go left (make a 270 degree turn) you can use either the inside or the outside lane. Therefore, in the second traffic circle, you have traffic crossing each other in ways that are prohibited in the first traffic circle.
The important thing is to pay attention to lane markings, make sure you get in the correct lane for where you are going, and always watch what other traffic is doing.
