I wouldn't recommend any boxes that have had food. If you have them for any length of time you end up with bugs. I've moved 3 times in 3 years and always purchased supplies from U Haul. I've compared prices with Home Depot and U Haul wins. You can order online and have delivered. If you order too many you can easily return and many outlets have a spot that people can return used boxes you can get free.

Of course, buying boxes is never a bad idea other than the fact that it gets expensive if you need a lot of them.

Liquor boxes are clean. Boxes from supermarkets that have food in them are also clean. Unpackaged food is never thrown in a box and any box that you have for any length of time will always get a bug or two. Roaches are attracted to the glue in all boxes and you will never void that if you keep them for a while.
