My point is that Silver Sneakers is an insurance benefit that is available only to people over 65 who have a certain type of Medicare plan. Some of these people don't even live in The Villages and don't pay amenity fees. But, The Villages fitness centers are using space and utilities in community rec centers that are maintained by Village residents who pay amenity fees. It would be very difficult to calculate a fair price for using the fitness centers only for those who are not eligible to purchase a Medicare plan that includes a free health club membership.
