We moved here in 2005 when the population was 30,000. We used to go to the Christmas tree lighting and other events on the squares with our neighbors, and it was a lot of fun. Now we wouldn’t go near the place. The squares have become places to get drunk and obnoxious. The Villages now has that reputation. What a shame. I guess the powers- that- be don’t care, as long as the money rolls in. This place is growing too big, too fast.
