The thread comments were pretty much 50% good 50% bad for All German Motorworks.

I ended up going with AGM based on comments/insights provided by Total Recon. Total Recon doesn't endorse AGM or anyone else.

The office intake lady lived up to what many of the online AGM reviews stated - she does have a grumpy facet. Not because we triggered it - it just seems to appear naturally.

While not a pleasant customer service interaction - it didn't thwart our forward motion.

Problem = convertible top was stuck in the down position.

Diagnosis = gears on the locking motor located under the rear seat had stripped.

Solution = Replaced locking motor with aftermarket version (OEM no longer available) $200 plus $225 for labor.

It took longer to repair then originally stated - but I didn't care about that. We intersected with the owner during our adventure and he is a very customer oriented individual. They accurately/honestly diagnosed the problem. The total cost seemed fair to me. I would probably go back - but that would depends on what the problem is.
