Default I look forward to the day when the comparos to Bush

come to an end.
During his Presidency all the things everybody wanted became a possibility.
During his tenure the dow was at 14,000 (October 2007).
Most likely these things would have happened no matter who was in the Oval office.
The seeds for the so called "melt down" were there long before Bush.
The warnings were posted during his reign...they were ignored by All the lawmakers and the entitlement continued....no matter who was POTUS.

Anyway to be continually looking back and continually bashing Bush as the comparison for Obama is such a waste of time...but if it makes one feel good...please indulge.

As far as giving Obama a chance....most of us are. When he allows the Congress to continue to spend and promote pork when he said he would not have that is only business as usual. If he doesn't put a stop to the business as usual that cost us billions continuously....without stepping in and say...I get it...and stopping it....sorry, when a known wrong...when an opportunity to make good on a promise is passed up or the practice allowed to continue....that IS NOT leadership. It is merely allowing more of the same

To not stop these business as usual, spend the bajesus while we are in a so called financial crisis can leave one with only a couple of conclusions. One a candidate says what ever sounds good to get elected.....typical politician....which he is. However the most likely reason is he does not have what it takes to take on Pelosi and her lemmings. Why else would he NOT nip some of the obvious non productive, costly business as usual practices in the bud.
A good leader does what he says....and on the basics he is not.

Without a prepared speech/script he is no better than the average speaker.

He is an excellent reader, speech maker.

He has not taken on the wastefull, ineffective processes of the inept Congress...

No need to wait much longer to see what he does about it in the future. An effective leader wades in and stops the non productive stuff....a politician just talks about it.

He...like all the rest is a politician...mostly still campaigning...like all the rest.
It is still business as usual.
