So, for the years before that, you never lost any money on stocks, either? Seems unrealistic to me. You mean you were only involved for a little bit before this 2.5 year ago movement of them? If this is so, congratulations. I myself, have lost, but am still a good deal ahead of where I was ten years ago. Ups and downs are just something one has to deal with in this game. And, don't know how old you all are, but I do think these 401k's will be back to where they were, in 5 years or so.
