My son and his family live in the Idaho panhandle in Sandpoint. My son is 51 and this year for the first time he commented that the short days in the winter were getting to him. He lived in Alaska for years in his twenties and I never heard a single complaint from him. I think most people seek warmth and sunshine as they age.
