They say the same thing about diabetes. I take 2 different insulin’s as my doctor wanted me off all pills.

As for cancer, I am on a daily pill for 21 of 28 days. Those 21 pills run about $15,000 a month. In addition I have chemo currently once a month but it was once a week for about 16 weeks. Each visit runs about $50,000. Luckily for me I only need to come up with $6000 at the beginning of the year and then everything is free for the rest of the year. Of the $6000, $700 was covered by one drug company and I am waiting on another drug company to see how much of a $4900 bill they will cover.

It is big business for sure. A cure would be great but keeping me alive is working. Was diagnosed at age 49, was forced to retire at 56.
