I enjoy my cul-de-sac home for its quiet surroundings. However:
+ when a large number of guests come to visit, parking extends up the street in front of the neighbors' homes
+ the wedge shape of a cul-de-sac home may limit the scope of your landscape options (front yard)
I enjoy my corner lot, but:
+ headlights / noise from passing motorists may annoy guests in the closest bedroom
+ parking to the corner is not polite as those using the intersection are compromised
I enjoy the corner lot:
+ landscape options are bountiful (my west side is all grass and awaits creative "plantings"
+ privacy will not be an issue as landscape planning will block whatever
