With 100,000+ people here now, maybe the wireless companies might think about adding a few new towers???
Right. But it's not the wireless companies. The problem was (still is?) towers were not allowed on T.V. property but about a year ago one suddenly grew on Buena Vista just north of 466A. Likely not T-Mo or AT&T because I am virtually LOS of that tower and none of those got any stronger here (I have sims for each provider to test). That was the first and only one on the property at least in the "north of 44 area" as I have no idea of the far south areas if there are any DIRECTLY on the property. They could put up a bunch of smaller towers that aren't as ugly. Seeing they haven't put any antennae on the big WVLG tower near 466 I wouldn't expect one anywhere else. The cell providers **PAY** to setup local towers on ones property if permitted or to rent space on existing towers. I have a friend up north who owns a building on a major highway US RT22 and Verizon built a 200' tower in it's back yard. They pay him thousands a month PLUS put and paid for the entire towns police/fire antennae on it PLUS put his and our ham radio repeater antennas on it on it at no charge. Evidently some palm scratching is needed for that around here. They can get more $$ per sq ft for commercial buildings than a tower here.
