While you may never need or get gigabit service, you want these devices to be normally, figuratively filing their finger nails while slinging megabytes of data around. That way when there is high demand, they handle it while maintaining quality of service.
Interesting since Comcast rents combination devices . Please let me know if I purchased a piece of garbage? Comcast approved Motorola Dual Band AC 1900 24x8 DOCIS 3.0 price paid $214.
