Let me ask for for your assistance, please, in welcoming new debaters. Many may not feel welcome because you all seem to understand things the rest of us don't. Acronyms!

If you don't use unrecognizable acronyms, I would hope that more people would ultimately jump in and post their thoughts. Those acronyms have a clubby sound, but even worse, we don't know what you mean.

FBI? We know that.
CIA? No problem.
GOP? Got it.
MSM? We outsiders have no idea.

Please take the extra five seconds to spell them out at least once in a post.
