That's one of the better combination devices. I assume that's an MG7700? It's likely not the problem.
You need to do a speed test while hard wired to the device just to eliminate the WiFi from the equation.
If it's still slow, I would make sure the coax is firmly screwed into the device. If you had another piece of coax, I would swap it from the wall to the device. You could also pick up a cheap one from Walmart or Best buy, just to make sure it isn't the cable.
Finally, I know both of our TV houses have cable jacks all over the place. Make sure there isn't anything attached to any of them. If you had a long enough coax, try connecting to a different jack or moving the device to a different place in the house and running the test again. If you get any significant variation, you have a cabling problem somewhere.
Cable technicians have meters that allow them to tone out the cable for proper propagation but getting them to come to your home is a pain. Fluke makes an absolutely wonderful coax tester. They only cost $600
