I'm interested because I'm starting PT for rotator cuff injury tomorrow. Dr. Cook, an orthopedic surgeon up at Sharon Morse center, thinks I will need the surgery eventually. My friends' daughter, who has been a sports PT at University of Michigan for 20 years, has read my MRI and thinks I can avoid it. She found me a PT through her network.
I'm torn, so to speak, about what to do but will try the PT first. You're the first person I've heard of who has avoided the surgery, if you did.

I also saw Dr Cook and he told me the exact same thing! He also said that with surgery that I may not have full range of motion. I am very interested in finding a good PT to see how that goes.
