While "The Crown" is supposed to be mostly fiction in regards to what is actually said and done by the Royals behind the palace walls, it looks like it's a lot more accurate than some people thought. With their entitlements go immense responsibilities and plenty of dysfunction. It’s a gilded prison, or almost a gilded chain gang. Meghan’s problem is that she assumed marrying a prince would mean people would obey her, whatever her whim, and lick her clean. Sort of like being on the set with “Suits.” I think the British public was hoping for a genuinely nice person to love. “What? I have DUTIES?”
