Fill a large stewing pot with water and put in 6 large lava stones. Prepare a kauai chicken for cooking and throw him in the pot.
Boil for three hours.
Take the chicken out of the pot and toss him and eat the lava stones.
The stones will be slightly more tender than the chicken.

Totally off OP topic, but I experienced those wild chickens in Kauai and the worst of it was the roosters crowing all day long. Made me want to boil some.
