My Experience
I had one up north for our front lawn. Let it run couple times a week and it kept a very neat clean even yard look. Early technology and I had to put it out and retrieve it but I've seen later ones that find "home" to a covered charging station that would be a huge improvement.
One of the Con sides was that after a couple years I had to replace the battery at $250 a pop. Include that in the payback calc.
