Default When the usual Bush bash/blame ceases maybe there can be a substantive discussion.

Here is an assessment that I am sure will draw fire from the usual camps, however, it is a realistic view from the financial side of what is and is not happening:

The expectations of the financial world are not unreasonable. At some point the newbies in Washington will pick up on it during their OJT (on the job training).

We all know change takes time. We all also know that without specifics, confidence will not come to the fore. And we should all also know leaders cannot just keep focusing on the populist menu....there are other needs the country has.

There are some changes that need to be made....that have IMMEDIATE impact that are not being addressed. Obama could have made good on his no pork committment made during campaigning. Yet he chose to not only ignore the business as usual in DC pork filled bills, but comes out and supports the fact it is there. He could just as easily had said, there will be no pork and don't send it to me until it is out. Instead he chose to fuel the ram rodding Pelosi/Reid bill riddled with pork. Only to be followed up by the next bill and no surprise here, eh....pork filled again.

What bothers those of us used to making changes that yield immediate impact and results...he is not doing it. And some how that seems to be acceptable to the followers of what ever he does. It is an executive short coming he has chosen to allow....results oriented people do not.
