That's not how government money works. The USA doesn't live in a vacuum. There are countries that owe our country hundreds of billions of dollars. We have an actual revenue stream. Yes we've added to the National debt. And yes I feel we need to start trimming some of the fat soon.
Right now though we're recovering from [politics politics politics] and a pandemic that no one could prepare for and put many of those people who used to earn too much to qualify for the stimulus are out of jobs. Thousands of businesses nationwide have closed their doors for good. Thousands have filed for bankruptcy, and put their employees out of work. I'm sorry it's such a GD inconvenience for you. Maybe try living in a country that has a government dictate what you may or may not own, and then you won't have to worry about feeling like somone getting a hand up is getting a single penny more than they "deserve."
