Oh please, what foolishness you've been fed. The cancelled "pipeline" is not built and has not moved a single drop of crude. Its existence sometime in the future or its cancellation has exactly ZERO influence on the price of oil today. Same with the claim posted that the executive actions cancelling drilling permits which have not been issued and have produced nothing has no influence on the price of oil today. The US exports oil to over 100 different countries. This has not changed since Jan 20th. The big increase in US oil production happened under the administration that was in office from 2009 to 2017. I know you don't hear that from some news sources which continuously tell you how terrible the energy policy has been.
Gas was 1.88 a year ago because the country and the world were shutting down. Demand was down as no one knew how deep the economic consequences of Covid were going to be. Now things are improving, so demand is up. This is so simple even Fox News should understand it. But when their experts later claim that no reasonable person should believe them, I can't find fault with your falling victim to such misinformation.
