Let's be very clear, the mRNA vaccines are NOT gene therapy and have absolutely NO impact on your DNA. RNA has a very short lifetime in the body. It is NOT incorporated into your DNA nor is it conserved when cells divide. During its very short lifetime in the body, it is used by cellular mechanisms to produce a protein that, in the case of the COVID-19 vaccine, looks like the spike protein of the corona virus. At that point, it's work is done and nothing else happens other than its destruction by the normal cellular machinery. That little piece of protein is recognized by your immune system as foreign and your body develops antibodies and other immune responses. Then, if you are exposed to live virus, your immune system is already primed to respond so you will not suffer any severe consequences from the infection. There is NO change to your DNA and there is NO change o your normally circulating RNA.
