We were on a cruise, actually the last cruise that was allowed out (for Carnival at our port anyway), right before the shut down happened. We had a lot of fun and would go back on one again today without hesitation if the only worry was the possibility that we might catch a virus. What I don't want to deal with is excessive precautions, walking around wearing a mask nonstop while on board the ship, having to present a proof of Covid vaccination or the possibility that our cruise ship could be quarantined and not allowed to port for days, weeks, however long because a passenger or passengers come down with symptoms of what is now a pretty common global virus.
It's not the virus that worries me. It's the overreaction by the authorities (government/health) that worries me. If it weren't for that, I'd sail today if I could.
