This might be a very fun book.
I worked with prisoners and ex-prisoners through Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners in 1987-1989 while a law student at the U of Minnesota. Some of them seemed like people who had just made a few very bad choices. Others were a different story.
Most of the men I represented as a student lawyer were at or had been at Minnesota Correctional Facility-Stillwater.
Danny Trejo sure turned his life around and this book could be an interesting take on how he did it. And most of his characters in movies are very entertaining but quite scary.
