Who wrote these words:

"I work as an RN. I don’t know anyone in my profession willing to take the vaccine. ... What’s the point if you still have to wear a face diaper"

What nurse refers to her mask as a face diaper? Does she refuse to wear a mask when she enters a room of a cancer patient whose immune system is compromised? Does she refuse to wear a "face diaper" in an OR? Is this a person with the calm demeanor you'd want in your health care provider? Is her experience that no nurses have been willing to take the Covid vaccine at all an accurate representation of the nursing profession which her post is trying to tell you it is?

Let's examine that question. Do nurses nearly 100% reject Covid vaccines? My SIL is a nurse, got the vaccine, two of my daughters are nurses, both got the vaccine. A KFF poll reported 2 weeks ago based on interviews from Feb 11 to Mar 7, that "seven in ten (68%) of those responsible for patient diagnosis and treatment like a doctor or a nurse report receiving a COVID-19 vaccine," I am sure that the number is higher now as more vaccines have been administered. "The unvaccinated group of frontline health care workers includes some who either have their vaccination scheduled (3%) or plan to get vaccinated but haven’t scheduled it yet (15%)."

So obviously the RN who wrote that gem doesn't represent her colleagues or fairly state the acceptance rate of vaccination of nurses. Don't listen to her [dms4rn] when she overgeneralizes or offers far out opinions as if she is authoritative on the subject.
