And consider, very VERY few carts obey the speed limit for carts (even though "fixed" so they can't exceed the villages limit for carts, most just go home and mechanically by-pass that ! Just saw two young teenage women today driving 26 mph (checked it) and had no control over the cart at all.... yet, laughing wildly ! ? LIKE teens having fun, but let's face it, most adults around here run at 25-30 and even "race" others to where paths narrow. So unnecessary, sad. Thought : IF the Villages would build a go cart race track (like on any of the open spaces where our buffalo USED to roam ?), that would allow people to get the crazy teen behavior "out of their systems" the "adult" in them can take over when they get into their golf-carts ?? LOL, I doubt it but, worth a try, we certainly have the space to build one !
