I didn't know these dog meds so I looked them up
Denamarin is a patented liver health supplement for veterinary use only In the long description on Drugs.com there is no mention of it being used for arthritis. Nor is there any recommendation in use for arthritis when I Googled Denamarin Arthritis.
Galliprant is a NSIAD
approved for osteoarthritis in dogs. It works at a different chemical level than drugs like ibuprofen which are also NSAIDs. It is a bit pricey at just over 2 dollars a pill online. The offer to give it away is a kind one. Neither product requires a prescription so there is no issue with that potential problem.
