Come at the problem from every direction and find something that works to fix it. More education about mental health would help, more stuff about cyberbullying and person-to-person bullying made available, more realistic discussions about the effects of gun violence on families and communities, etc. Mostly done locally though. There are very good mental health professionals out their and the patients and their families would have an idea who these people are as would the other local health professionals. Get them more involved with helping people cope.
