The 2010 elections are not that far away. All 425 members of the House are up for re-election, including the two Congressional districts that cut through TV. Sen. Martinez is retiring, and his seat is up-for-grabs.
Let's not forget that the Florida gubernatorial election also occurs in 2010. I venture that not many folk even know who are the State Reps and Senators in tis area, or what they vote on, or how long they've been in office, or anything else about them. The State stuff, especially with the general size of this state, and we're in the middle of it, is so very important to TV and our quality of life.
There's a lot on the table - now's not the time to "go on a political diet."

I agree Steve and why I began the thread.
I dont understand all the interest at election time and then NOTHING. I learn from here....I learn by reading others....I learn when folks disagree with me.
I do not understand how the passion of folks just leaves. Listen, I have said the same thing over and over DURING THE PRIMARY..nothing has changed. I dont mind folks disagreeing with me....I have a passion for this country and a passion for politics. I do not think because we are "retired", we should sit around, accept things, play golf and not get involved. Then WE become the problem !!!
Anyway I was curious if people just didnt care now that there is a "winner"
