I appreciate everyone's concern with their own personal freedom and individuality but I'm referring to common sense and the safety of our loved ones. It's a fact of life, as we get older, the percentage of exhibiting signs of dementia increase and that's a fact some of us here haven't accepted. The same way I have concern for my MIL due to her diminished mental capacity, I have great concern when I see an older individual driving their cars or golf carts very "cautiously and slowly" and I'm not talking about "all" older people but those with diminished capacity.
