I believe that people have the right to own a gun for both protection and sport. I just struggle with all the deaths that have occurred by someone using a rapid fire weapon. It’s just how I feel.

Nope. Perfectly legal to own a fully auto machine gun. Just do the required paperwork and it's yours.
Of course it'll cost a pretty penny, but it perfectly legal...
But could you tell me who was talking about fully automatic weapons?
