She sent it back saying it wasn't cooked, a minute later it came back still pink, but the plate was hot. She then refused it and the two women next to us had the same problem with their grouper. We watched as the Mgr/owner showed the next table a filet of raw grouper and tried to explain to them that grouper was pink. Yes, but not when it's cooked!!! Besides, does he know for sure that what he's buying is really grouper?? Unless you buy the fish whole, you really don't know for sure, do you?

All four in our party are Florida natives and know damn well what cooked grouper should look like. This Mgr had no patience or even a modicum of compassion for the customer. He was adamant about the authenticity of his fish, but hey, if we don't want it and are not satisfied, don't try to confince us to eat it!!!

Must mention also that my brother-in-law and I ordered a squash medley with no squash in it. I asked the waitress about the lack of squash and she said I quess we ran out. My wife ordered a pasta dish with what was supposed to be fettucinni and she got angel hair. Nothing was said in advance about the switch in food when served. They made the excuse that "we closed at 8 PM." Even though we got there at 7:30 PM.

By the way my sister-in-law got a grouper dish a month ago there and she loved it!! This was our first visit and our last!!!

This owner has a lot to learn about customer service if he wants to survive in this economic environment.
Are you saying that, regarding the "grouper," the place was actually doing a "bait and switch....." [groan!]
