Many years ago I used to lecture, teach photography. A regular old debate is it an art?
The word photo graphy. Is writing with light. For many, for most, they are snapshots.
Actually today with digital an automation there are thousand more snapshots taken and it is far easier to do.
Art, is seeing the light. We all regularly walk past beauty but we do not even see it.
Perhaps, a better term is notice it.
