You have to know how to handle them to avoid price increases. Haven't had a price increase from any TV or internet provider (other than a dollar or two here or there for petty stuff) in probably 25 years. With a little effort you can ALWAYS be a "new subscriber" and get the lowest rates. Been with ComCrap, Fios & DirecTV over many years and always was a new sub. It takes a little effort and minimal inconvenience. The streaming companies aren't much cheaper and you're still tied to an internet provider.
