If you ride a cruise ship to enjoy the buffet food, just take a trip to Golden Corral. If you cruise to use the gambling facilities, there are casinos within an hour drive from the Villages. Sorry if I am a downer for some, but the truth is that you are gambling your health when you go on those cruise lines. Look at how many come back every year to port with at least half the passengers coming home with some illness. Similar to folks that fly a lot. Look at how many folks that fly get to their destination and have a cold or flu. For what? To enjoy a duplicate of home away from home?

I like the way you think. Make your paradise right wherever you are. Personally, I would rather watch a movie than go on a cruise. I would NOT even take a free cruise. My idea of exciting would be to drive to Daytona and swim in the ocean. Or take a kayak trip around a lake in TV Land.
