I also enjoy playing with my wife, but if we link up with two other guys, I have never found that to be an issue. If they go out as a two some, they have to expect that and it should not be an issue.

Short story. I went to this golf course to play by myself in Virginia. (private club) Go to tee and there is two women they sent me out with. THANK god I didn't say or think anything about playing with women. They tell me they are playing the blue tees, for which I thought some strange things, but still just said OK and watched as they tee'd it up. She was about 5' 3", maybe 110 pounds, and her drive went close to 300 yards. Now guess who was embarrassed. On my best day, maybe 275 for me. Well my first drive went about 255, and I bogied the hole while she got a birdie. Her friend got par. Turns out she was Chris Tschedder (sp) an LPGA professional. Very nice lady and a great golfer who would have to give me lots of strokes. She out drove me by a lot on every hole. Shot a 70 from the blue tee's, while I got a great round for me at an 88.

So lesson learned. Play and let play and enjoy the game with who ever they put you with. And if you get with two other guys that have a problem, it's their problem, not yours.
