T.J. Maxx foolishly used WEP for their WiFi security, long after WEP could easily be hacked in less than one minute, by a hacker in their parking lot. If anyone is fired, it probably would be the general IT workers, instead of the incompetent and reckless management, who are responsible for the security breach that could have been easily prevented.

It is far easier to criticize than to actually make decisions. We regularly see this.
We all do this, I shoulda, coulda, mighta. More important too many say I am perfect, he shoulda, coulda, mighta.
As far a fault, we do not know. Did IT prepare reports and send them to the manager or management team? Updates cost money and upsets the system. It is worth doing?
Easy to see AFTER the system is hacked.
Too many people choose to bide their time and not rock the boat. I was a salesman.
Regular sales meeting. Management says, most scream that is great or say nothing. That is what management wants. Then when you break for lunch, or the meeting is over, the same people screaming how great it is say what the heck are they thinking this is nuts.
