You are so very and sadly correct. Every employer in this area is crying for employees and willing to pay double the normal starting rate for the most part but can’t get anyone.
Our local Lowe’s is down 25 people and desperately looking. They tell me as have others that because unemployment benefits have been increased and extended people are staying home and making the same and in many cases more than they were working so why work?
The point you ask? The point being this is just another way to get all the people they can depending on the government.
Open everything should’ve never been closed cut the benefits and get back to work now.
Let those that will ge the Covid get it, let those that will die from it die, let those that recover from it recover, let those that won’t get it go forward period and I’m saying this as someone with every risk factor a person could have.
