Why do the electric leaning persons try to stuff their beliefs down our throats. Electric generation by solar and wind may not be as carbon intensive as fossil fuel generation, but it's only a slight difference taking into account the maintenance like changing out the fan blades or solar cells declining output. If you want to get off the grid try Gilligan's Island.
