All other places only sell the gas in small containers at a ridiculous price. You can buy tru fuel, which is Ethanol free at Walmart, Tractor Supply, etc... for $24 for a 110 OZ. can versus about $3 for 128 Oz. at WaWa in Florida. I will risk driving the gas up north in the bed of my pickup truck. I wouldn’t do it inside a car.
My neighbor up north is setting up an old oil tank in his barn with a drainage valve on the bottom of the tank. The plan is to fill the tank about 90% with gas (containing ethanol) and then top off the tank with water. Ethanol bonds with water and both are heavier than gas and will sink to the bottom of the tank. Open the valve and slowly drain out the water/ethanol until pure gas drains out and shut the valve. The tank now contains ethanol free gas.
