Why not just leave it in the grill (not inside the birdcage, that outside?) Or do you store the grill inside? If you can remove the tank and store it outside about anywhere. ( like stored when you brought it or where it filled at, outside. I sure got big birdcage to store it in corner?

I don’t barbecue enough to warrant gas line installation.
